Happy New Year!
Let’s start the year off right.
Happy new year to you all! I hope that you had a good 2025, and as we roll into this new year I expect us all to overcome our challenges to make it the best we can. And speaking of making it the best, I am going to start things off with a fun announcement!
Magni the Mighty Weekly catch up!

Beginning this Friday, I will be posting pages from the first two issues of Magni the Mighty in preparation of issue #2’s launch on February 6th. This is a way for anyone unfamiliar with the series to catch up and those familiar to be refreshed. Also, if you’re a subscriber to the newsletter, there will be a cool special reward tier on the campaign that will have a discount for all 3 issues (0-2) and a neat little surprise. Be sure to follow the campaign prelaunch, as I’m trying to hit 100 follows before the campaign goes live.
Summit Comics Pinnacle #1 Coming Soon!
I’ve probably spoken nonstop this a lot lately, but I’m passionate about the work we are doing at Summit Comics.
Soon, we will be launching our debut graphic novel to kick off our superhero universe, which will see various characters spin-off into their own titles beginning with Granite, Noir, and Upheaval reissues on this campaign. I know I’ve spoken about my other creation, Trench, who’s part of this great new universe and I have some big plans for them this year! I need all your support to help us make this project take off the best way we can. Help us hit 200 followers before launching, as it’ll all be worth it.
Personal Goals.
This year I have a set of goals — as opposed to resolutions — as a means to set the bar and really go beyond my expectations. Last year was a mess for me, and I didn’t meet any of the goals I set and it really rubbed me the wrong way. But no more, as this is truly the year to go above and beyond. Let’s see what my goals are:
1.) Have 3 funded Kickstarter campaigns.
2.) Increase my newsletter subscribers by 150-200.
3.) Be proactive with online store sales.
These are all attainable, and there’s no reason why I cannot do any single one of these goals I set. If I can manage to get them all crossed off, it’ll make my true goal of being a full time creator that much more possible.
And speaking of much more possible, I would love to have more paid subs on this newsletter. Paid subscribers help me do what I do, and you get access to awesome content:
Becoming a paid sub means you get first look access to artwork, scripts and tons of behind-the-scenes content that no one else gets to see (including the teases I share here).
Beginning January 1st, 2025, all paid Substack subscribers will be eligible to receive a special free physical copy of select new single-issue or collected edition series released and funded through Kickstarter (or other crowdfunding site) while supplies last. This would typically be for new issue #1s and collected editions. This would be a paid tier Substack subscriber only variant, and unavailable through crowdfunding, my online store, or con exclusives. Basically, fully unique to those on Substack. And not to mention, a yearly gift as a thank you for the support on top of this (all paid subs receive this).
Shipping is available anywhere in the world but would not be included for free. Rates for 2026 will be as follows:
USA: $6.00 USD
Canada: $20.00 USD
All other countries: $25.00 USD
If you opt to support the Kickstarter campaign at any tier level, your Substack incentive cover would just be included with your standard order, and you would not be charged extra shipping, as you would already be paying it via the crowdfunding platform.
Please note this is for select crowdfunded comics only, not comics that may be exclusive to the direct market, and not those comics that I did not crowdfund myself.
*You must be on the annual membership at the time the comic is successfully crowdfunded to receive your free comic. Monthly memberships are not eligible because they could just cancel right after they receive their rewards, but are eligible for yearly gift so long as they are subscribed by the deadline to receive the gift. The annual membership is actually much more cost effective compared to paying monthly.*
*2026 printed Substack Editions will be limited to 50 copies. First come, first serve.*
That’s it for now!

Following the campaigns!! I’m excited for all the awesome comics you’ve got coming up in 2026!
