Hello to all you Epic Fantasy fanatics and supporters! We have missed you all since our last newsletter update, but we come bearing a lot of cool, exciting news to sate your appetite!
Bearer of Ages News
If you’ve been following along, then you will know that we were set to launch Bearer of Ages in the month of January. Well, the month came and went, but we entered February with success in the palm of our collective hands. The project was overfunded with the help of the comic community, allowing us all to win together in order to share this amazing story with a new audience.
Currently, I am awaiting funds from Kickstarter before I can proceed with the next step, which will be fulfillment. The book has been done, and once I get funds dropped I’ll be sending out PDF’s to all backers and handing over files for printing! Such is the nature of publishing, but the wait is well worth it.
Devin Hits The Convention Circuit!
Next month, I shall be embarking on my first ever trip to a convention as a creator! If you are in Michigan or Ohio, then please join me at FantastiCon in Toledo (OH) on March 11-12! I’ll be bringing along copies of The Sentinel and Bearer of Ages to spread the good word and gain more readers to experience what we’ve got going on here. I’d love to meet all of you who can attend, and we can have a blast together!
What’s Next?
We have a lot of great things on the horizon in the later half of the year. I gave it away during an interview with Cody of Keeping It Geekly promoting Bearer of Ages with CJ Hudson, so it would be unfair to not share that same news with you all here today. Our new projects are as follows:
Endless Hunt by CJ Hudson & Rio Burton
Noir: Curtain Call by Ben Worrell and myself (Devin Arscott)
Granite by CJ Hudson & Fritz Casas
Two brand new superhero comics and an all new fantasy book that’ll blow you away like no other. As of now, two of the three titles are nearly completed and the third will start production in mid-Q2 of the year. You’ll have a wonderful opportunity to grab these new titles later in the year over on Kickstarter, so look out for any news regarding a prelaunch page to be notified of their launch.

Lastly, we are not slowing down when it comes to bringing our best comics work, and I’m absolutely happy to share that CJ Hudson has an all new anthology currently on Kickstarter!
Amongst the Stars is a 110-paged anthology of cosmic love stories told by a great group of indie comic creators curated by CJ Hudson and Elyse Russell for Band of Bards. I had the pleasure of looking over the work, and I’m happy to be able to share this project with you all in order to help fund it. If you can, please consider pledging in support of all these wonderful creatives as they have brought their A-game for this project.
