Post-Con Update and More!
Short and sweet update, no biggie, right?
I’d like to start this off by welcoming all of our new subscribers from Motor City Comic Con last weekend. I am thrilled to have you all aboard the newsletter and hope you enjoy the content, both new and old. I usually don’t post on Sundays, but I’ve had a rather long week and finally on the mend from the con on top of being sick all week.
Motor City Comic Con was…
…a success! Had a crazy good time at my first ever show as a comic book creator since I last attended as a con goer in 2015.
I split the table with friend and creator Cam Kerkau, as we both tackled a 3-day show together to spread the word of comics. For those who don’t know Cam, he’s the creator of the stellar mythological comic, Gilgamesh: Eternal, and by far one of my favorite creators who I’ve gotten to connect with in my time in the industry. Lots of insightful chats involving what we love, we didn’t land, and other riveting moments.
But that’s not the best part, we came with lots of stock and I know for a fact we both left a lot lighter than we arrived. I sold out of Granite, Noir, Bearer of Ages, and nearly out of The Lion of Olympus. Talk about an insane amount of comics sold on my end. This was a great means of ending out the year with a huge show and I am so happy to have been able to connect with many new fans of our works.
Summit Comics Updates.
Over at my other venture, Summit Comics, we have been laying down some hard work trying to gear up for our upcoming Kickstarter campaign this coming January. Summit Pinnacle #1 will be the first foray into the universe filled with brand new stories with no strings attached. We’ve got a cool Sneak Peak into the book for sale over on our site, so if you’re wanting a look into the universe a few months in advance, then this is your chance. Don’t wait, grab a copy today!

Other Updates.
• Magni the Mighty is coming back in full swing this February, and I’m so very excited for Thor’s favorite son to return to Kickstarter. I’ll be bringing issues #0-2 for new and old fans alike, with some cool covers and other offerings on the campaign.
•The all new Epic Fantasy Studios website is underway. Once it’s done, I’ll be sure to notify you all of its launch and you’ll be able to get any comics I offer from this point and beyond there.
•Slowly working on a newsletter exclusive comic. After the results of the poll I ran, I had to figure out exactly what I could bring to the table with the winning idea: a Public domain sci-fi book. I have a fun idea, and I’m hoping it lands decently in your eyes once it’s ready to go. Stay tuned.
•2026 is a big year for me, as I attempt to release as many comics as I can. This year I did 1, and the year before that I did 1 (on my own). 2026 I want to do at least 4 comics in a single year that are my own creations. Can I do it? Guess we shall see in the new year!
